We are currently seeking Registered Mental Health Nurses (RMNs) across multiple UK regions to support an upcoming clinical trial. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a clinical research environment, supporting study-related activities through a combination of remote and home-based clinical visits. The study is currently in preparation, so we are looking to connect with experienced nurses ahead of the anticipated go-live to establish availability and introduce suitable candidates to the wider study team.
The role will involve providing clinical support for trial activities on an ad hoc basis, with opportunities available across:
- London
- South East
- Midlands
- North West
You will need to be comfortable working independently, travelling to patients' homes where required and supporting clinical trial activity within agreed protocols and procedures. This would suit an RMN who is looking to gain or further develop experience within clinical research, decentralised clinical trials (DCT) and home-based patient care.
Key Requirements
- To be a qualified and registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN).
- A minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience.
- Experience administering or working with the Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale (PANSS) is highly desirable.
- Previous homecare or community-based clinical experience would be advantageous.
- Previous experience within clinical research, clinical trials or decentralised clinical trials (DCT) would be desirable.
- Availability to support ad hoc clinical trial visits Monday to Friday during daytime hours.
- The flexibility to travel to patient visits, typically within approximately 90–120 minutes' driving distance.
- Own vehicle and full driving capability to support home visits.
- Strong communication, organisation and clinical documentation skills.
- The ability to work autonomously while following study protocols and clinical requirements.
This is an ad hoc opportunity over a potential 24-month period, providing flexibility alongside your existing commitments. Please note that availability is specifically required Monday to Friday during daytime hours. Evening availability would not meet the requirements of the role.
Why Consider This Opportunity?
- Opportunity to support an upcoming clinical trial.
- Work across a combination of remote and home-based clinical visits.
- Gain valuable exposure to clinical research and decentralised trial delivery.
- Flexible, ad hoc working pattern over a potentially 24-month programme.
