We’re supporting a global pharmaceutical organisation in the appointment of a Healthcare Compliance Manager to oversee EU operational healthcare and scientific compliance activities. This role will champion code compliance within Medical Affairs, ensuring all scientific engagement and materials align with EFPIA and local country regulations. You’ll act as the regional subject matter expert while partnering cross-functionally to maintain a strong culture of compliance.

Requirements

  • Advanced scientific or medical degree (MSc, MD, PharmD or equivalent)
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry
  • At least 2 years’ experience in medical compliance
  • Strong knowledge of EU and UK healthcare regulations and codes
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at multiple levels

Responsibilities

  • Ensure Medical Affairs SOPs and compliance processes remain current and effective
  • Lead medical review and approval of regional materials
  • Drive compliance with EFPIA and local country codes
  • Partner with regional and country stakeholders to embed a culture of compliance
  • Oversee governance activities including committees and reporting
  • Support compliance relating to congresses, publications, grants and donations
  • Coordinate internal audits and training to maintain internal capability
