A leading advanced manufacturing business is looking for a Production Technician to join a high volume, highly automated environment on a permanent night shift pattern. This is a hands-on role combining production support, maintenance, and fault finding within a fast-paced setting.
Shift Pattern: 3 days on, 3 days off, 11pm to 11am
The Role: You will take ownership of technical and processing activities across the production line, ensuring machinery runs efficiently while maintaining quality and uptime.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Operating production machinery and supporting daily line activities
- Covering breaks, assembling product, and managing pallet release duties
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and refurbishing offline equipment
- Diagnosing and repairing electro-mechanical faults
- Ensuring equipment is set correctly and producing to required standards
- Monitoring in-process quality and resolving issues to avoid product holds
- Minimising downtime while controlling repair and spare part costs
About You:
- Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering
- Experience in a high volume, fast paced manufacturing environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
- Comfortable working permanent night shifts
