Planet Pharma are currently partnered with a leading pharmacy group and we are actively seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join the business on a permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead procurement and sourcing of medicines and consumables, managing supplier relationships, contracts, and cost efficiencies.
- Oversee pharmacy inventory and stock management, ensuring medicine availability while minimizing shortages, waste, and expired stock.
- Support the implementation and optimization of pharmacy automation and robotics to improve operational efficiency.
- Provide operational support for dispensary services, including prescription processing and day-to-day pharmacy activities as required.
- Drive service development through process improvement, workflow optimization, and implementation of new initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy governance, quality standards, SOPs, audits, and incident management, promoting patient safety and continuous improvement

- Pharmacy Technician with pharmacy stores experience.
- Experience of procurement and medicines ordering.
- Knowledge of ward top-ups and stock replenishment processes.
