Exciting opportunity with a global biotech organisation seeking an experienced Clinical Operations leader to drive clinical development strategy and execution across the full product lifecycle—from First-in-Human studies through registration and post-marketing activities. This is a highly visible leadership role, combining strategic oversight, operational excellence, and cross-functional collaboration on global development programs.
Responsibilities:
- Lead clinical operations strategy and provide input into global Clinical Development Plans (CDPs) and program objectives.
- Oversee clinical development activities across assigned indications and ensure delivery against timelines, budgets, and quality expectations.
- Drive operational risk management, issue resolution, and cross-functional decision-making.
- Partner with Clinical Trial Leads, Project Managers, and senior stakeholders to ensure successful execution of global clinical programs.
- Support country and site selection, CRO management, and regulatory readiness activities.
- Lead and mentor clinical operations teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure inspection readiness and support audits across the development portfolio.
Requirements:
- 15+ years of experience in Clinical Development and Clinical Operations leadership within biotech or pharmaceutical organisations.
- Strong background in global clinical trial management, strategic drug development, and operational execution.
- Proven experience leading complex global programs and working effectively within matrix environments.
- Experience managing CROs, external partners, and outsourced clinical development models.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and team development capabilities.
- Thorough knowledge of ICH-GCP and global clinical development regulations.
- Degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, or a related discipline.
