Are you a LIMS specialist who can bridge the gap between technical configuration and business analysis? We're partnering with an innovative biotech organisation embarking on a phased laboratory informatics transformation and are looking for a hands-on Research Business Analyst with strong LIMS implementation expertise. This is a unique opportunity to join at the beginning of a major programme, helping shape future laboratory systems, data models and workflows while supporting the evolution of a cloud-based LIMS environment used by over 120 scientists. You'll also play a key role in future expansion projects, including the transition towards a unified Quality Management System and the design of next-generation laboratory capabilities.

What you'll be doing:

  • Acting as the technology SME for laboratory informatics platforms and expansion projects
  • Configuring and administering cloud-based LIMS solutions
  • Gathering requirements and working closely with scientists, researchers and business stakeholders
  • Designing and implementing workflows that support evolving scientific needs
  • Leading testing, change management and user adoption activities
  • Supporting laboratory informatics data models and data pipeline initiatives
  • Driving system enhancements, implementation activities and continuous improvement programmes
  • Collaborating across Technology, Data Science, PMO and Therapeutic Platform teams in a highly matrixed environment

What we're looking for:

  • 5+ years' experience working with cloud-based LIMS platforms
  • 2+ years' experience with Revvity Signals LIMS preferred (Mosaic experience also highly desirable)
  • Proven experience delivering LIMS implementations, system design and configuration
  • Strong Business Analysis skills including requirements gathering, workshop facilitation, process mapping and UAT
  • Previous experience in pharmaceutical, biotech or life sciences environments
  • Experience working with structured quality and documentation processes
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholder groups, from early-career scientists to senior leaders across biology, chemistry and translational sciences
  • Experience with Revvity Signals LIMS implementations
  • Experience with Mosaic LIMS
  • Previous Product Owner or System Owner experience
  • Experience supporting laboratory data pipelines alongside Data Engineering teams
  • Background in complex IT transformation programmes within Life Sciences or Pharma
  • Play a key role in modernising laboratory informatics capabilities
  • Contribute to the design of a new lab-enabled London facility planned for 2027
  • Shape the future state of research technology platforms
  • Work with highly collaborative scientific and technology teams
