Position Overview:

We are seeking an HR Specialist in Global Mobility to join our Human Resources team. This remote role offers the opportunity to contribute to the management and coordination of global mobility programs for employees across different regions. The HR Specialist will help ensure a smooth and efficient global mobility process, assisting with employee relocations and international assignments while ensuring compliance with local regulations, tax requirements, and company policies.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with HR, legal, tax, and payroll teams, providing support to employees moving internationally. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience in handling global mobility cases and relocations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Global Mobility Administration:
  • Support the coordination of global mobility programs, managing the logistics and compliance aspects of employee relocations and international assignments.
  • Employee Experience:
  • Provide a positive experience for employees on international assignments by offering support and guidance throughout the relocation process, including pre-assignment briefings, visa and immigration assistance, and relocation logistics.
  • Policy & Compliance Management:
  • Ensure global mobility programs adhere to local and international regulations, including tax, immigration, and labor laws. Maintain up-to-date policies that meet business needs.
  • Data Management & Reporting:
  • Update and maintain records for global mobility cases in HRIS systems. Provide regular reports and data on global mobility activities, including assignment status, cost analysis, and compliance tracking.
  • Vendor Management:
  • Work with external vendors and third-party service providers, such as relocation companies, immigration consultants, and tax advisors, to ensure smooth execution of mobility programs.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Serve as the main point of contact for employees and business leaders regarding global mobility matters. Offer guidance on mobility policies, benefits, and timelines.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with HR, payroll, legal, and tax departments to ensure all aspects of global mobility assignments are managed effectively, from policy application to repatriation at the end of assignments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Need to have experience working in the pharmaceutical industry!
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in global mobility, expatriate management, or HR coordination.
  • Strong understanding of global mobility processes, including immigration, tax, and relocation regulations.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work with employees and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality when managing sensitive employee information.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with global mobility management in a multinational organization.
  • Knowledge of international tax and immigration laws and regulations.
  • Familiarity with global mobility software or systems.
