Our client, a leading manufacturer within a regulated manufacturing environment, is seeking a Tooling Project Engineer to manage injection mould tooling projects from concept through to production. Working closely with customers, suppliers, and internal teams, you will ensure tooling solutions are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead injection mould tooling projects from design through validation and production release.
- Manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and project risks.
- Coordinate tooling design reviews and supplier activities.
- Support mould trials, tool validation, and process qualification activities.
- Drive continuous improvement, troubleshooting, and tooling optimisation initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.
About You
- Experience managing injection mould tooling projects within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong project management, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of tooling validation, supplier management, and engineering documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across cross-functional teams.
- Experience within medical devices, pharmaceuticals, plastics, or other regulated industries is advantageous.
