Role: Quality Control Analyst
Shifts: Willingness to travel shifts. This will be a shift-based role with a 3-week rotation:
- Early shift 6am - 2pm Monday-Friday
- Late shift 1:30pm - 10pm Monday-Thursday, 1:30pm - 7pm Friday
- Night shift 9pm - 7am
Contract: Initially a 12-month contract with strong possibility of extension
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Quality Control (QC) Analyst to join our team at the Dartford site. In this role, you will perform QC analysis to support production operations, including testing, in-process controls, and composite sample analysis. You will carry out analytical testing using defined methods and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct analytical testing accurately and efficiently in line with cGMP requirements
- Review, approve, and report QC data for product release
- Perform various tests such as particle size analysis, cleaning verification, identification testing (FTIR), method development and validation, DSC, surface area analysis, and pharmacopoeia analyses
- Ensure documentation is clear, accurate, and compliant with regulatory standards
- Prepare test methods and analytical reports including Statements of Results, Certificates of Analysis, and Cleaning Certificates
Qualifications & Skills:
- Training in PTA, CTA, PCA, MFA, or equivalent pharmaceutical qualifications
- Hands-on experience in pharmaceutical quality control and packaging material testing
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- High attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Flexibility to work across different shifts
