We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join a leading pharmaceutical organisation. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in managing direct tax compliance across multiple markets in Europe while providing strategic tax advice to business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all direct tax reporting and compliance requirements for assigned European markets.
- Prepare and submit US tax reporting, including quarterly current and deferred tax provisions, contingency, and projections, leveraging TaxStream technology.
- Coordinate annual Transfer Pricing documentation, analysing financial data and liaising with commercial teams and external advisors.
- Prepare corporate income tax returns and instruct payments in collaboration with external advisers.
- Act as a primary liaison with tax authorities as required.
- Prepare annual tax disclosures for statutory financial statements and respond to auditor queries.
- Monitor and analyse local tax legislation changes, assessing impact and communicating recommendations to business partners.
- Participate in internal projects to enhance tax compliance, provide advisory support, and leverage third-party resources effectively.
- Contribute to strategies around automation, standardisation, risk management, and tax technology adoption.
- Support other markets and complete additional reporting requirements as needed.
Your Profile
- Qualified Accountant and/or Chartered Tax Adviser.
- Extensive experience in tax compliance within at least one jurisdiction, either in practice or a multinational corporate environment.
- Strong understanding of accounting provisions, principles, statutory audit, and financial statement disclosure requirements.
- Experience in indirect taxes is a plus.
- Fluency in English is required.
