We are supporting the search for an experienced Clinical Supply Chain Logistics Manager to join a global clinical operations environment focused on ensuring uninterrupted delivery of investigational medicinal products (IMP) across critical clinical trial programs. This is a highly operational, fast-paced role requiring strong hands-on logistics execution, stakeholder management, and the ability to perform effectively in high-pressure “hypercare” environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary logistics point of contact for assigned clinical supply programs
  • Provide end-to-end oversight of clinical supply logistics activities and shipment execution
  • Monitor and manage Stock Transfer Orders (STOs) across internal and external depots
  • Coordinate urgent, temperature-sensitive, and patient-critical shipments to ensure continuity of supply
  • Partner closely with Study Teams, Trial Supply Managers (TSMs), Regional Delivery Leads (RDLs), CMOs, depots, and logistics providers
  • Drive issue resolution, escalation management, and proactive risk mitigation during critical study phases
  • Track shipment execution timelines and intervene quickly where delays or deviations arise
  • Support release planning and align logistics activities with clinical milestones and enrollment priorities
  • Deliver regular hypercare status reporting including shipment health, risks, mitigations, and critical path updates
  • Ensure logistics activities remain compliant with GDP and clinical supply chain standards

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Life Sciences, Engineering, or related discipline
  • 10+ years’ experience within clinical supply chain logistics operations in a global clinical trial environment
  • Strong operational experience with STO management, shipment coordination, and logistics issue resolution
  • Experience working with CMOs, depots, and external logistics providers
  • Strong understanding of clinical trial supply processes and GDP requirements
  • SAP knowledge is essential
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across cross-functional and international teams
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in time-critical environments
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills
