Location: Hybrid in Cambridge

Job Type: Initial 3 Month contract (highly likely to be permanent after initial contract)

About the Role

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Supply Chain Administrator to join our growing team. In this role, you'll be responsible for supporting the end-to-end supply chain process, ensuring the efficient coordination of purchase orders, freight movements, inventory updates, and shipping documentation.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills, supply chain knowledge, and a passion for delivering exceptional operational support in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Purchase Order Management
    • Accessing and updating purchase orders within Atlas for stock distribution.
    • Downloading and reviewing cockpit purchase orders to confirm quantities with internal stakeholders.
  • Freight Coordination
    • Managing shipments from booking through to final delivery.
    • Obtaining freight quotations and coordinating with freight forwarders on vessel collections, sailing schedules, and estimated arrival times.
    • Ensuring shipments are delivered on time and in line with business requirements.
  • Shipping Documentation
    • Preparing packing lists and commercial invoices using Excel templates.
    • Producing compliance documentation, including Certificates of Origin and declarations.
    • Creating and sending pro forma invoices and SAP delivery notes to the Commercial Operations team.
  • Shipment Tracking
    • Monitoring shipments and updating production order schedules.
    • Maintaining accurate information within the ComOps cockpit, including stock availability, quantity changes, and shipment delays.
    • Providing regular ETA updates to internal stakeholders.
  • Internal Collaboration
    • Liaising with UK and Rhein warehouses, freight partners, and internal departments.
    • Supporting warehouse teams with inbound stock enquiries.
    • Assisting the Commercial and Manufacturing teams with reporting, inventory updates, and operational support.
  • Administration & Reporting
    • Maintaining accurate shipment records and filing documentation within Microsoft Teams.
    • Providing data to support supply chain reporting and analytics.
    • Undertaking additional administrative duties as required.

You'll be successful in this role if you have:

  • Previous experience in a Supply Chain, Logistics or Operations Administration role.
  • Strong knowledge of freight operations and inventory management.
  • Experience using SAP for deliveries, stock allocation, or logistics processes.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Outlook and Word.
  • Excellent organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • The ability to prioritise multiple tasks and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with SAP.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Experience within supply chain, freight, logistics or inventory management is highly desirable.
