Primary Responsibilities
- You will be at the forefront of our team with a core focus on our business development efforts, driving sales and expanding our footprint across the region.
- Identify new opportunities with clients for services including Permanent, Contract /Freelance, and SOW staffing.
- Actively seek new business opportunities through a variety of channels, working intelligently in line with market developments and Planet Pharma’s sales strategy.
- Effectively communicate with and work with our Recruitment Delivery team in order to meet client hiring needs.
- Work in a solution orientated manner to proactively promote Planet Pharma and successfully secure new clients and assignments.
- Develop, build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients and work with internal and external stakeholders to create communication lines to support successful fulfilment of client needs.
- Negotiate and conclude deals with clients and propose contracts.
- Handle the communication between client portfolio and various internal departments, by acting as a primary point of contact, in order to drive opportunity and keep clients optimally informed.
- Some travel will be required in order to visit clients and to visit our office in Melbourne.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Demonstrable track record of successful business development within Recruitment Solutions across the Life Science/Pharma industry.
- A proactive and strategic approach with experience in successfully building a division/desk.
- Previous experience in a 360 or business development role within recruitment is required.
- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills and fluent in English, additional language skills are an advantage but not necessity.
