Do you enjoy turning real-world data into evidence that helps teams make faster, smarter decisions? As an RWE Expert, you’ll support and deliver high-impact real-world evidence (RWE) projects, including a time-sensitive collaboration to grow an existing rare disease registry. The priority is getting meaningful progress moving quickly–so if you can start ASAP and enjoy partnering with clinicians, statisticians, and diverse stakeholders, this role is for you.
You’ll provide practical support across study design and execution–building study concepts, protocols, statistical analysis plans, governance and quality processes–while translating findings into clear internal and external insights.
Required Skills- Proven experience delivering RWE projects using primary and/or secondary data (within pharma, or via recognized consultancy/academic centre of excellence)
- Strong capability in study development and execution, including:
- writing study concepts and study protocols
- developing statistical analysis plans (SAPs)
- meeting quality control and governance requirements
- tracking milestones and supporting delivery on time and to budget
- Experience working with patient-centred outcomes or survey/carer/proxy-type data (data environment familiarity is important)
- Ability to work effectively with clinicians and build strong working relationships (the role includes close collaboration with clinicians who manage registry data)
- Strong stakeholder management and project collaboration skills across cross-functional groups and external partners
- Experience representing RWE on primary data collection study teams
- Sound scientific judgment: selecting fit-for-purpose methodologies/data sources, with awareness of strengths/limitations
- Clear communication skills: presenting and communicating results internally and externally, with the confidence to challenge and defend scientifically sound approaches
- Agency or consultancy background (beneficial for the type of work and collaboration style)
- Direct experience collaborating on studies with academic research groups and/or key opinion leaders
- Experience interpreting and working with patient and/or carer-provided data
- Familiarity with the rare disease space
- Preferred: PhD in epidemiology or outcome research, with strong breadth and depth of RWE experience
- Experience level: the hiring manager is looking for someone who can support effectively and deliver while contributing to ongoing projects
