A growing, innovation driven organisation is hiring an Information Security Analyst to strengthen its cyber defence capability. This is a hands on role focused on protecting critical data, systems and infrastructure, working closely with technology and compliance teams to maintain a strong security posture.

You will operate as a front line defender, responsible for monitoring, detecting and responding to security threats while ensuring controls remain aligned to recognised frameworks and regulatory expectations. You will play a key part in maintaining secure operations across identity, infrastructure and third party ecosystems.

What you will be doing:

  • Implement and manage security controls across networks, systems and endpoints, including patching, hardening and access control.
  • Monitor security events using SIEM and related tools, investigate alerts and lead incident response activities.
  • Own identity and access management processes including privileged access, SSO and MFA.
  • Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability scanning and support penetration testing and remediation.
  • Lead third party risk assessments and supplier security reviews.
  • Support audits and ensure alignment to recognised standards such as ISO 27001 and data protection requirements.
  • Contribute to security projects, continuous improvement initiatives and awareness across the business.

  • Strong hands on experience with security technologies including firewalls, EDR, IDS IPS and vulnerability management tools.
  • Solid understanding of network security, operating system hardening and cloud security in Azure or AWS.
  • Experience working with security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST or CIS controls.
  • Proven capability in incident response, threat analysis and root cause investigation.
  • Good working knowledge of identity and access management principles and tools.
  • Ability to translate technical security risks into clear business impact.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with security testing tools and penetration testing coordination.
  • Exposure to scripting or automation for security operations.
  • Industry certifications such as Security Plus, CEH, CISSP or equivalent.
