Support a paediatric patient's participation in clinical research through three focused home visits in Carlisle.
Overview
This temporary, ad hoc assignment involves three 3-hour visits at the patient's home. The first visit is scheduled for 11 November, with the remaining visits arranged around the availability of both the patient and nurse.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct scheduled home visits.
- Measure and record vital signs.
- Perform venepuncture.
- Collect samples for use in a centrifuge.
- Assess and document changes in symptoms and medication.
- Complete visit documentation accurately.
- Support the patient throughout the research visits.
Must-Have
- Paediatric nursing experience.
- Experience measuring vital signs.
- Venepuncture experience.
- Experience collecting samples for centrifugation.
- Experience assessing changes in medication and symptoms.
- Ability to complete three 3-hour home visits in Carlisle.
Nice-to-Have
- Previous clinical research or research nursing experience.
- Experience working in community or homecare settings.
- Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice.
