Role overview: We’re looking for a detail-oriented Commission Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the end-to-end administration of commission processes, ensuring accurate and timely payouts for a high-performing sales organization. You’ll work closely with Sales and Finance teams to deliver precision, transparency, and efficiency in every aspect of commission management.
What you'll do:
- Commission Administration: Manage all aspects of day-to-day commission operations, ensuring accurate and timely payments.
- Reporting & Auditing: Create, validate, and audit monthly reports to guarantee accuracy and completeness of commission crediting and payout results.
- Error Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve calculation or data discrepancies promptly and effectively.
- Sales Team Support: Respond to compensation-related inquiries from the Sales Team in a timely and professional manner.
- Configuration & Testing: Perform configuration, testing, and support activities related to plan, quota, and policy changes.
- Promotions & Incentives: Administer Sales Promotions, bonuses, and SPIFF payments accurately.
- Reconciliation & Metrics: Prepare key monthly reconciliation reports, including commission and sales attainment metrics.
- Process Improvement: Proactively identify, develop, and implement process improvements, documenting procedures to enhance efficiency and scalability.
Who you are: Ideally University Educated in Business, Accounting or have related field or equivalent work experience and 3+ years experience in commission processing or business / Finance analyst function for a sales team. Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail. Advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis). Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Experience in commission calculations, sales operations, or similar roles is a plus.
