As a Team Leader in the Tills & Grocery department at Planet Organic, you play a vital role in delivering our mission to promote health and sustainability to our community. Responsibilities
- Lead by example to make every customer experience enjoyable and informative.
- Train and develop team members, ensuring they are knowledgeable about our products and the benefits of organic and natural options.
- Oversee customer service at till points, ensuring transactions are processed accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene and ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines to create a safe and clean environment for both customers and staff.
- Analyse sales and wastage and send reports to senior management as requested.
- Place orders and manage stock to ensure optimal inventory levels.
- Train new starters and lead their progression within the team.
- Work as part of a team to complete daily tasks, including opening and closing the store in the absence of a duty manager when necessary.
- Collaborate with your team to prioritise and complete daily tasks, including stock management and presentation, while fostering a positive team atmosphere.
- Providing support for store operations by assisting with store opening and closing procedures, and other managerial duties as needed.

- Previous retail experience is essential, with supervisory or team lead experience preferred.
- Our stores operate during evenings, weekends, and public holidays, so we\’re looking for team members who are flexible with their availability and can adapt to different shift patterns as needed.
