The Overnight Custodian will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of all areas of the facility to ensure a positive member experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize restrooms, locker rooms, fitness equipment, and gym floors.
- Stock locker rooms with supplies and paper products.
- Report any broken or missing amenities or equipment (toilets, faucets, showers, hair dryers, gym equipment, etc.) to the Club Manager.
- Follow the Lost and Found Policy and turn in lost member property to the Club Manager/Assistant Club Manager immediately.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Custodial experience preferred.
- Punctuality and reliability are essential.
- Ability to work third shift is required.
- Honesty and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to solve problems independently.
- Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions using appropriate behaviour and language.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
Physical Demands
- Continuous standing and walking during shift.
- Continuous reaching with hands, fingers, and arms.
- Occasional climbing, balancing, kneeling, and crouching.
- Occasionally lift over 80 pounds.
- May encounter toxic chemicals.
