Planet Education Networks is seeking a motivated Paralegal to join our small but dynamic in‑house legal team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong legal background who wants hands‑on experience across a wide range of commercial and corporate matters.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Legal Executive on commercial contracts, data protection, compliance, governance, and intellectual property matters.
- Ensure that contracts comply with internal policies and applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
- Track key contractual obligations, renewals, and termination dates.
- Support internal compliance initiatives and audits, including training and policy updates.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with data protection laws (e.g., GDPR and other relevant privacy frameworks).
- Assist with commercial leases and other property‑related legal matters.
- Help maintain corporate records and legal templates.
- Liaise with internal teams and external partners across multiple subsidiaries and international entities.
Qualifications:
- Law degree (LLB or equivalent).
- At least 1 year’s legal experience (in‑house or in private practice).
- Excellent communication, organisation, and attention to detail.
- A proactive, adaptable approach and enthusiasm for learning.
