Location: Hybrid role, home based with initially 2 to 3 days per week in the London office depending on customer requirements. Then moving to 1 to 2 days in the office.

A leading food production company with a strong presence in London is looking for a dynamic National Account Manager to oversee and grow relationships with top-tier UK retail partners.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Develop and execute tailored strategies to drive growth and exceed account objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.
  • Take full ownership of customer accounts, managing promotions, pricing, distribution, and product visibility both in-store and online.
  • Lead customer projects from concept to completion, ensuring excellence at every touchpoint.
  • Maintain up-to-date records and ensure smooth coordination with supply chain and logistics.
  • Drive negotiations with confidence – from securing new listings to adjusting pricing and promotional plans.
  • Monitor account performance, analyse data, generate insights, and proactively adjust plans to maximise outcomes.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience managing major UK grocery or retail accounts (minimum 2 years required).
  • Strong commercial awareness, confident in interpreting data and translating it into actionable plans.
  • Proven success in securing new business and expanding distribution opportunities.
  • Skilled in negotiation, building rapport, and influencing decision-makers.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • A collaborative mindset and ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, supply chain, and NPD teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
