Our client is a global leader in food manufacturing (FMCG) selling products in over 100 countries with 25 factories worldwide.

They are a great company to work for offering excellent career progression and job satisfaction.

They are currently looking for a Category Manager to be based at the head office in Hammersmith, West London.

This is an excellent opportunity, the company’s portfolio has grown strongly in the past 5 years and they are looking for a candidate to grow rapidly as part of a close knit and supportive team with an autonomous working environment.

This is a developmental role, a path to becoming a category manager.

Job role

The successful candidate will have the energy and ambition to make a significant contribution to the future success of the business.

You need to be someone who thrives in fast paced, action orientated environments and relishes new challenges, managing multiple priorities and working collaboratively with their colleagues to deliver a shared goal.

Background

  • FMCG background, preferably in UK market
  • Category or Sales executive with strong analytical skills & over 2-year experience ready to take the next step for their career

Skills

  • Demonstrates a good understanding in category management principles
  • Commercially aware
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent analytical thinking, attention to detail and interpretation of data
  • Ability to work under pressure whilst being highly organised and efficient
  • Able build positive internal & external collaborative working relationships
  • Knowledge of Circana/Nielsen, Kantar or Dunnhumby
  • Working knowledge of excel & Power Point
  • Knowledgeable in category management principles
  • Commercially aware
