Base pay range $75,000.00/hr – $85,000.00/hr Role Summary: Operate as an Effective Account Control Tower – Assist client’s internal facilities, real estate, IT, and project teams with policy development and best practices for moving and furniture related activity. Review, document, and level set customer initiation workflows, process requirements and scope related policies. Function as the primary initiation point or clearing house for project initiations and maintain an appropriate line of sight to all relationship activity. Structure and Oversee Account Team – Build and lead account team to provide move & space planning, furniture design, decommission planning, project coordination and other move related service oversight. Define different project types, develop accountable parties and workflows for each type and location if applicable. Consistently channel deliverables through defined channels and communicate with account team to strengthen performance. Provide Professional Planning Services – Directly provide or facilitate planning support including budgeting, space planning, furniture design, communications, control documentation, schedule creation, project development and project management. Read and decipher floor plans, prepare space plans and furniture installation drawings in AutoCAD and other applications. Prepare furniture inventory assessments. Develop move lists, employee communications and other documentation to support move and furniture activity. Ensure Best Practices and Modern Methods – Ensure company’s project management best practices are followed throughout all service planning and delivery. Also proactively eliminate outdated approaches by promoting our LINK technology to improve communication, streamline service planning, and offer modern, efficient solutions. Ensure Effective Handoffs and Accountability – Develop and foster a TEAM account culture that emphasizes timely, accurate, and complete transfers of information to ensure effective transfers of responsibility to avoid confusion and failure. Proactively Strengthen Client Relationship – Deliver high levels of customer satisfaction and assist company in retaining and growing relationships with additional services, additional geography, and referrals. Experience/Education: 5+ years’ project management and client relations experience in commercial furniture, moving, construction or relatable industry required. Bachelor’s degree in interior design or related field or equivalent relevant work experience required. Experience working in a commercial furniture dealership or moving company is highly preferred. Interior design license preferred. Job Requirements/Skills: Demonstrate commitment to the highest moral and ethical business standards. Be highly proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and other modern design applications. Be able to communicate and interact effectively with people of various levels in an effective and professional manner. Demonstrate success in establishing, developing, and nurturing effective internal and external relationships. Must have strong critical thinking skills to make sound plans and business decisions. Must demonstrate excellent organizational and project management skills. Must convey a positive, professional image and attitude to internal and external customers. Must set ambitious goals and remain continually motivated and persistent. Competitive spirit and winning attitude are essential to this role. Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple, changing priorities in a demanding environment with limited supervision. Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as being a good listener. Must possess a high degree of initiative and strong customer service focus. Must be committed to continued professional growth and development required. Must have strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point). Must be willing to travel up to 75% of the time if required. Pay & Benefits: This is a full-time position that comes with a comprehensive benefits package and a competitive salary commensurate with experience.
