Base pay range

$19.00/hr – $21.00/hr

The Role:

The International Billing Specialist is responsible for handling various elements of the international household goods shipping process. This includes, but is not limited to, advanced billing inquiries from ocean and air freight lines, linehaul carriers, Customs brokers, overseas & domestic partner agents, while ensuring accurate and timely invoicing. This role requires a high

level of expertise in billing processes, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to interact effectively with both internal teams and external clients. The International Billing Specialist plays a crucial role in maintaining customer satisfaction and ensuring the financial integrity of

the organization.

• Responsible for ensuring all necessary billing paperwork is properly assembled, audited for authorization and forwarded to the appropriate account for payment.
• Accurately enter data into the computer through Mover’s Suite billing for invoicing and commission payments in a timely manner.
• Must be flexible with account changes and updates.
• Understand the relationship between underlying service providers participating in international shipment.
• Work closely with the sales teams, move managers and transportation coordinators to maintain good communication.
• Be involved in understanding the different billing requirements of all clients.
• Initiate and recommend procedure change to the Director of Billing.
• Respond to any request from customers, suppliers, or other departments in a timely manner.
• Address and resolve escalated billing inquiries from customers, internal departments, and other stakeholders.
• Investigate and analyze complex billing issues, identifying root causes and implementing solutions to prevent
• future discrepancies.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement within the billing function and collaborate with the Billing
• Utilize company core values of TEAM (Trust, Empowerment, Accountability and Mesh) as guiding principles for behaviors with both internal and external customers.
• Develop understanding of all internal systems used to deliver services.
• Maintain constant communication with client and consistently demonstrate a sense of urgency.
• Promptly communicate any potential problems, incidences, or occurrences effecting the daily operations and management of the department to your immediate supervisor.
• Develop and maintain a positive and productive working relationship with management, co-workers, team members, contractors, and customers with the Company’s best interests as a top priority.
• Demonstrate a willingness to improve job related skills, be responsive to directions, accept constructive feedback, and show flexibility and creativity in completing work assignments.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook and in any Departmental Manual.
• Accept and perform additional job duties, assignments or projects as directed by your immediate supervisor or management for the betterment of the Company.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 year(s) experience in a related position
• Excellent organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and complete assignments with minimal supervision.
• Strong Microsoft Office applications skills (Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point).
• Customer service driven with the ability to meet customer needs in a timely fashion.

Pay & Benefits:

This is a full-time position that comes with a comprehensive benefits package and a competitive salary commensurate with experience. Benefits include:

Conditions:

• Full-time position. Generally Monday through Friday, first shift.
• Unassisted lift up to 35lbs.
