We are looking for a highly organised, proactive, and tech-savvy Marketing Assistant to support the Marketing Manager across a wide range of day-to-day marketing activities. This is a fast-paced role for someone who enjoys variety, learns quickly, communicates clearly, and is excited to work across digital marketing, automation, events, content, reporting, and operational coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Marketing & Campaign Support
    • Assist with the creation and execution of email marketing campaigns and automated sequences.
    • Create WhatsApp campaign messages and automated sequences.
    • Support LinkedIn content creation, scheduling, publishing, and engagement activities.
    • Assist with the coordination and execution of marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
  • CRM & Automation
    • Support CRM management and marketing automation setup.
    • Work with platforms such as GoHighLevel.
    • Assist with workflow creation, automation, segmentation, tagging, and campaign optimisation.
    • Help identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce manual work through automation.
  • Content & Design
    • Create simple graphics, presentations, and marketing assets using Canva and/or Figma.
    • Prepare copy for communications, landing pages, scripts, emails, and marketing materials.
    • Assist with promotional materials, leaflets, merchandise, and print coordination.
    • Support content creation and repurposing across multiple platforms.
  • Events & Webinar Support
    • Assist with the technical organisation of webinars and online events.
    • Help coordinate logistics for in-person events and marketing activities.
    • Prepare presentations, event materials, registration pages, and follow-up communications.
  • Reporting & Administrative Support
    • Collect and organise weekly marketing data and performance metrics.
    • Prepare simple reports using platforms such as Google Analytics, CRM dashboards, and campaign tools.
    • Assist with research, competitor monitoring, and operational marketing tasks.
    • Provide general administrative and coordination support to the Marketing Manager.
  • AI & Productivity Tools
    • Use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and other emerging platforms to support content creation, research, workflow optimisation, and marketing execution.
    • Stay up to date with new AI tools and identify opportunities to improve team productivity and marketing processes.

Requirements

  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Highly tech-savvy and comfortable learning new platforms quickly.
  • Strong experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or similar platforms.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proactive attitude and ability to take initiative.
  • Fast and responsive communication, especially in Slack.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote and fast-moving environment.

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Experience working with CRM systems and marketing automation tools.
  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms and workflow automation.
  • Experience with Canva and/or Figma.
  • Basic understanding of HTML email editing.
  • Experience with Google Analytics and marketing reporting.
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn as a marketing and content distribution platform.
  • Experience using AI-assisted workflows to improve content production, reporting, research, and operational efficiency.
  • Experience supporting webinars, events, or digital campaigns is a plus.

Working Style

  • Remote role, contract position, 40 hours per week.
  • Must have approximately 2 hours of overlap with the UK time zone.
  • Active participation and fast response times in Slack are expected.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment where priorities can change quickly.
  • Willingness to learn, adapt, and take ownership of tasks.
