PLAN Productions is looking for an organised and proactive Samples + Studio Assistant to join the team. This is a hands-on, studio-based role working closely with our production and shoot teams. You will be responsible for ensuring the studio runs smoothly, that our creative teams have exactly what they need, and that clients, models, and crews are well looked after on set.
The Role
- Sample Management: Tracking the flow of samples through the studio. This includes unpacking and checking in items as they arrive and managing returns once the shoot is wrapped.
- Styling Support: Preparing samples, styling props and accessories for shoots. You’ll maintain the organisation of studio spaces, styling rails, and wardrobe areas.
- Catering & Hospitality: Arranging lunches for the crew and ensuring the studio and kitchen are well-stocked and welcoming.
- Problem Solving: Troubleshooting sample queries on an ad-hoc basis to keep production moving.
- Studio Upkeep: General maintenance of the space to ensure it remains a clean, functional, and professional environment for our team and clients.
What we’re looking for
- Experience: Previous experience working in a studio environment is essential.
- Systems: Proficiency in Monday.com and Google Sheets for tracking inventory and workflows.
- Organisation: You’ll be managing a high volume of samples, so a natural ability to keep track of moving parts is a must.
- Proactive Attitude: We need someone who anticipates what’s needed before being asked and is happy to get stuck in.
The Details
- Schedule: Full-time, 5 days per week.
- Location: Based at our studio in Manchester.
- Contract: Available as either a fixed-term contract or a permanent role.
