Role Overview
You’ll support customers across South Yorkshire, carrying out service, maintenance and repairs on a wide range of automatic door systems. Your work will include:
- Servicing, repairing and fault‑finding on sliding, swing and revolving doors
- Electrical checks, sensor testing and control system diagnostics
- Completing BS EN 16005 safety checks and compliance documentation
- Attending breakdowns and delivering first‑time fixes where possible
- Supporting installations and commissioning when required
- Providing clear updates and a professional on‑site service
Ideal Candidate
We’re looking for an engineer who brings technical capability, reliability and a customer‑focused approach. You’ll need:
- Experience with automatic doors
- Strong fault‑finding skills and basic electrical knowledge
- A full UK driving licence + relevant operating licences
- Confidence working independently across customer sites
- A positive attitude and commitment to high‑quality engineering
Salary & Rewards
- 38k plus £2400 on-call Allowance
- On-call premium: £200 per week (£2,400 per year)
- Premium overtime (time and a half & double time)
- Monthly bonuses (£200–£600)
- 33 days holiday (25 + bank holidays)
