We’re recruiting an Automatic Door Engineer to join our West London team.
This role is open to both experienced Automatic Door Engineers and engineers from PPM, Field Service, or electrical maintenance backgrounds who want to progress into the automatic door industry.
As an Automatic Door Engineer, you’ll work for a global entrance solutions provider delivering high-performance automatic doors and access systems across retail, healthcare, transport and commercial sites.
Role Overview As an Automatic Door Engineer, you’ll carry out service, maintenance and repairs on sliding, swing and revolving automatic doors across Hayes and the West London area.
This position suits an engineer with strong electrical fault-finding skills who wants structured training, progression and long-term stability.
- Key Duties
- Servicing, repairing and fault-finding on automatic sliding, swing and revolving doors
- Electrical checks, sensor testing and control system diagnostics
- BS EN 16005 safety checks and compliance documentation
- Attending breakdowns and delivering first-time fixes
- Supporting installations and commissioning
- Providing clear updates and professional on-site service Ideal Candidate
- Automatic door experience or PPM / Field Service / electrical maintenance background
- Strong fault-finding skills and basic electrical knowledge
- Full UK driving licence + relevant operating licences
