As a Senior Audio Visual Technician, you will take the lead on delivering high-quality live events, conferences, exhibitions, and hybrid productions. We are seeking a Senior Audio Visual Technician who can confidently manage technical setups, operate professional AV systems, and ensure flawless event delivery. This role suits a Senior Audio Visual Technician with strong hands-on experience and excellent client-facing ability. In this position, the Senior Audio Visual Technician will oversee equipment preparation, installation, operation, troubleshooting, and de-rig across a wide range of events. You will act as the lead technician on-site, directing crew, liaising with clients and venues, and ensuring all audio, video, LED, lighting, streaming, and recording systems are delivered to a professional standard.
Key Responsibilities- Lead technical delivery across conferences, corporate events, exhibitions, awards, and hybrid events.
- Prepare, test, load, and return equipment in line with project briefs.
- Install and operate audio, video, LED, lighting, streaming, and recording systems.
- Interpret briefs, schedules, signal flows, and room layouts.
- Act as lead technician, directing technicians and freelance crew.
- Troubleshoot and fault-find to maintain high technical standards.
- Liaise with clients, venues, presenters, and Production Managers.
- Operate audio mixing, presentation control, video switching, streaming platforms, and RF systems.
- 7+ years of professional AV experience.
- Strong understanding of digital audio consoles, video switching, LED processing, and signal distribution.
- Experience with Midas consoles, NEXO PA, Sennheiser wireless, LED walls, and streaming platforms.
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
- Comfortable working under pressure and to tight schedules.
- Full clean driving licence.
- Safe Pass (preferred).
- Manual handling certification (preferred).
- Flexibility for early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends.
