We are recruiting an Automatic Door Engineer to join our Central London team. This role is open to both experienced Automatic Door Engineers and engineers from PPM, Field Service or electrical maintenance backgrounds who want to progress into the automatic door industry.
As an Automatic Door Engineer, you will work for a global entrance solutions provider delivering high-performance automatic doors and access systems across retail, healthcare, transport and commercial sites. You will carry out service, maintenance and repairs on sliding, swing and revolving automatic doors across Holborn and surrounding areas. This position suits an engineer with strong electrical fault-finding skills who wants structured training, progression and long-term stability.
- Servicing, repairing and fault finding on automatic sliding, swing and revolving doors
- Electrical checks, sensor testing and control system diagnostics
- Supporting installations and commissioning
- Providing clear updates and professional on-site service
Requirements:
- Automatic door experience OR PPM / Field Service / electrical maintenance background
- Strong fault-finding skills and basic electrical knowledge
- Full UK driving licence + relevant operating licences
Salary:
- Experienced Automatic Door Engineer: up to £44,300
- PPM / Field Service Engineer (entry level): up to £35,000
- Premium overtime (1.5x & 2x)
