We are recruiting an Automatic Door Engineer to join a leading global entrance solutions provider covering Camden and the greater London area. As an Automatic Door Engineer, you will work across and surrounding towns, supporting customers with high-quality service, maintenance and repairs. This role is ideal for an experienced Automatic Door Engineer seeking stability, strong earnings, and long-term career development. Due to continued growth, we are now seeking an Automatic Door Engineer who can deliver exceptional technical support across a wide range of automatic door systems. The successful Automatic Door Engineer will carry out PPM, reactive repairs, BS EN 16005 compliance checks and first-time fixes while representing a respected, industry-leading brand.

Role Overview

  • Servicing, repairing and fault-finding on sliding, swing and revolving doors
  • Electrical checks, sensor testing and control system diagnostics
  • Completing BS EN 16005 safety checks and compliance documentation
  • Attending breakdowns and delivering first-time fixes where possible
  • Supporting installations and commissioning when required
  • Providing clear updates and a professional on-site service

Ideal Candidate

  • Experience with automatic doors
  • Strong fault-finding skills and basic electrical knowledge
  • Full UK driving licence + relevant operating licences
  • Ability to work independently across customer sites
  • Positive attitude and commitment to high-quality engineering

Salary Package & Rewards

  • £40,400 + £2,400 = £44,300
  • £2,400 on-call allowance (£200 per week)
  • Premium overtime (time-and-a-half & double time)
