Job Title: Paediatric Nurse (RSCN)

Position Overview:

As a Registered children’s nurse with Plan B Health Care, you will have the opportunity to work in dynamic healthcare settings, providing essential support to patients in need. We offer block booking options and a competitive hourly rate, ensuring that your skills and dedication are rewarded appropriately.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high quality nursing care to children and adolescents, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and vaccinations as prescribed by doctors. Monitor and document patient responses and progress.
  • Offer emotional support and education to families, helping them understand their child\’s condition and treatment plans.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients, develop, and implement individualized care plans, and adjust them as needed based on patient progress.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including doctors, physiotherapists, and social workers, to provide integrated care.
  • Educate children and their families about healthy lifestyles, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions.
  • Respond promptly to emergency situations, providing life-saving care and stabilizing patients as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring all treatments, observations, and communications are documented.
  • Adhere to all relevant healthcare regulations, hospital policies, and professional standards of practice.
