We are partnering with a highly respected international luxury consumer brand undergoing significant technology and operational evolution. This is a newly created leadership role with broad responsibility across technology strategy, architecture, digital platforms, enterprise systems, operational resilience and delivery governance. The business operates across retail, eCommerce, logistics, customer platforms, trading operations and data-led customer engagement, with technology now central to its next phase of growth.
The Technical Director will provide overall technical leadership across a complex and evolving technology estate, ensuring platforms, delivery teams and partners operate cohesively and effectively. This role is not about transformation for transformation’s sake. The focus is on thoughtful modernisation, operational stability, commercial value and long-term scalability. You will work closely with senior leadership to shape technology direction, investment priorities and operating models across the organisation.
Key areas of responsibility:
- Define and lead the overall technology strategy and roadmap
- Oversee architecture, service delivery, engineering standards and delivery governance
- Ensure operational resilience, scalability and platform reliability
- Align digital, data, ERP and customer technologies into a coherent operating model
