We are supporting an established luxury retail organisation with the appointment of a Lead Solutions Architect for an initial 12 month FTC with the potential to go permanent. This is a senior, highly visible architecture role with responsibility for shaping solutions across a complex enterprise technology estate.

You will act as a senior technical design authority, combining strategic architecture leadership with hands-on solution design.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Designing scalable, secure and supportable enterprise solutions
  • Producing solution architecture designs, technical artefacts and integration patterns
  • Translating business requirements into practical technical solutions
  • Leading architecture reviews and challenging designs produced by internal teams and external partners
  • Defining API, systems integration and architecture standards
  • Simplifying the technology estate through platform consolidation, standardisation and reuse
  • Evaluating technology decisions against business value, risk and Total Cost of Ownership
  • Supporting the development of cloud, data, automation and AI capabilities
  • Presenting architecture options and recommendations to senior stakeholders

We are looking for someone with:

  • Significant experience as a Lead Solutions Architect, Senior Solutions Architect or Enterprise Solution Architect
  • Strong enterprise systems integration and API architecture experience
  • Experience across cloud-based and SaaS technology environments
  • The ability to combine strategic architecture thinking with detailed technical design
  • Experience working with third-party delivery partners and technology suppliers
  • Strong commercial awareness and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience across Microsoft Azure, digital commerce, ERP, finance systems, CRM, customer data platforms, data platforms or AI would be beneficial

Location: London, hybrid working 2-3 days onsite

Contract: 12 month fixed term contract
