Our client, a global leader in financial services, is seeking an experienced IT Disaster Recovery Manager to strengthen their operational resilience framework across EMEA.

As regulatory requirements such as DORA, MiFID and CFTC become ever more demanding, this is an exciting opportunity to shape and mature a critical Disaster Recovery (DR) capability for a high-profile international organisation.

Must-Have Skills:

  • 5+ years’ hands-on IT Disaster Recovery / resilience experience
  • Strong knowledge of modern DR practices, risk assessment & BIA techniques
  • Familiarity with ITIL governance and project delivery frameworks
  • Broad technical fluency (networks, servers, storage, databases, comms)
  • Proven track record engaging with senior stakeholders & cross-functional teams

Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge of capital markets, OTC trading platforms & market data systems
  • Strong understanding of DORA, MiFID & CFTC regulatory requirements
  • Certifications such as ITIL, PMI, or Prince2
  • Experience running DR/BCP exercises (table-top & live failovers)
  • Familiarity with Citrix, VMware, SQL/Oracle, Bloomberg/Reuters
