This role is focused on setting the cyber security posture for the group, ensuring systems, data and platforms are protected in a proportionate, commercially aligned way.
The Role
As Head of Cyber Security, you will own the cyber security strategy, policies and operating model across the organisation. You will act as the authority on cyber risk across technology delivery and operations, with direct exposure to senior leadership and board-level stakeholders. Security is expected to be embedded by design across cloud, SaaS, data, integrations and endpoints, supporting innovation while managing risk appropriately.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and evolve the group cyber security strategy and control framework
- Lead cyber risk management, governance and assurance activities
- Oversee threat detection, vulnerability management and incident response
- Act as a mandatory assurance point for high-risk technology and data initiatives
- Embed secure-by-design principles into all digital and technology programmes
- Define and manage third-party and supplier cyber security requirements
- Report clearly on cyber risk, posture and resilience to senior leadership and the board
Experience Required
- Senior experience in cyber security or information security leadership roles
- Strong background in governance, risk, compliance and incident management
- Experience in regulated, brand-sensitive or customer-trust-driven environments
- Ability to communicate cyber risk clearly to non-technical stakeholders
Why This Role
This is a rare opportunity to shape cyber security at group level within a values-led organisation where trust and reputation are critical. You will have genuine influence, board visibility and the mandate to embed effective, proportionate security.
