Warehouse Role - Permanent Position
No Weekend or Evening hours just 8AM - 5.30PM (Potential overtime available if you wish).
Within your position, you will be involved with the physical handling, loading, and unloading of goods (such as furniture and architectural elements) within a warehouse setting.
Core Responsibilities
- Loading and Unloading: Efficiently moving materials and products from delivery vehicles and into storage areas, or preparing them for shipment/installation at client sites.
- Material Handling: Safely moving goods within the warehouse using appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts (if certified), ensuring items are properly secured to prevent damage.
- Inventory Management: Assisting with regular inventory checks and ensuring accurate placement of items in designated locations.
- Safety and Maintenance: Adhering to all company and industry health and safety protocols, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Record Keeping: Potentially keeping records of loaded/unloaded items, shipment times, and any product quality issues, often using computerised systems.
