Exciting Fitter Role £16PH Employed or £17PH Self Employed roles Available Overview The Furniture and Artwork Fitter is responsible for installing artwork, bric-a-brac, furniture and fixed seating at client premises across the United Kingdom.

The role involves delivering the finishing touches to exciting, high-end projects, working with leading UK design companies to create and complete a variety of hospitality venues.

Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in installation or furniture delivery is preferred but not essential.
  • Knowledge of basic hand and power tools is desirable; training will be provided.
  • Confident driving a van with a clean driving licence.
  • Capable of obtaining the relevant CSCS qualifications required to enter construction sites.
  • Physically fit with the stamina required for manual handling.
  • Good verbal communication skills.
  • Dependable and responsible.
  • Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
  • Comfortable working both as part of a team and independently.
  • Thorough, alert and detail-oriented.
  • Able to work effectively to tight deadlines.
  • Flexible and able to follow instructions regarding workflow priorities. Role and Responsibilities
  • Take responsibility for delivering high-end projects
  • Work under the direction of the Operations Manager and designated Project Manager when attending client premises.
  • Work as part of an extensive fitting and operations team.
  • Undertake installation work and deliveries at client premises across the UK.
  • Liaise professionally with customers on site where appropriate.
  • Report any site defects, issues or problems with workflow to Operations Management.
  • Complete relevant construction industry training and qualifications.
  • Maintain and properly care for all tools and equipment provided.
  • Drive responsibly and report any vehicle defects, fines or penalties to Operations Management.
  • Adhere to all health and safety requirements and wear appropriate protective clothing and equipment.
