Founded in 2013, the company is headquartered in San Francisco with offices in New York, Washington D.C., London and Amsterdam. Plaid’s Product team builds the network that powers open finance. Plaid’s Europe team is one of the fastest-growing teams at Plaid and is looking to expand our product team to drive our ambitious bets within Payments and Credit. Our PMs are curious, fast-moving, and customer-obsessed, making intuitive, reliable experiences that help people thrive financially.

As a Product Manager at Plaid, you’ll define and drive products that help millions connect, move, and manage their money. You’ll partner with engineering, design, and go-to-market teams to translate customer needs into impactful, high-quality products.

Responsibilities
  • Own a product area: define problems, develop ambitious hypotheses to solve them, and drive execution with cross‑functional teams.
  • Shape the roadmap using data, feedback, and market signals.
  • Understand that building successful products requires a mixture of art and science, and get the balance right between the two.
  • Speak directly with customers and GTM teams to sharpen your ideas.
  • Display a strong understanding of business needs.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Design to deliver intuitive, high‑quality experiences.
  • Use metrics and user insights to measure and improve outcomes.
  • Communicate clearly, align stakeholders, and guide decisions.
  • Act with a founder mindset—simplify, move fast, and embrace feedback.
  • Learn continuously and help raise the bar for Plaid’s products and culture.
Qualifications
  • 1–4 years of experience in a product‑related role (e.g. Product Manager, APM, startup operator, founder, or product analyst).
  • Proven track record of building or launching products end‑to‑end.
  • Experience collaborating closely with engineering and design teams to deliver value quickly.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; able to explain complex ideas simply and effectively.
  • Comfortable operating in fast‑moving, ambiguous environments.
  • Be comfortable making decisions and owning their outcome.
  • Familiarity using AI in your day‑to‑day product work, such as prototyping, research, or analysis.
  • Experience in an early‑stage or high‑growth startup environment.
  • Nice to have: Experience in fintech.
