The Workplace Experience team powers the Plaid experience through adaptable problem-solving, intentional design, and thoughtful execution grounded in expertise and care. We are looking for an experienced and proactive Workplace Experience Manager based in London to support our UK and Dutch teams. This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the London and Amsterdam offices, while also supporting budget management and events & experiences programming for the Europe teams. The ideal candidate is highly organised, comfortable juggling priorities across locations, and able to operate independently in a fast-paced, growing environment.
Responsibilities- Oversee day-to-day operations for Plaid’s London & Amsterdam offices, including workplace programs (janitorial, food & beverage, etc.), facility maintenance, access management, and amenities.
- Manage and serve as the main point of contact for all office vendors, landlords, and service providers.
- Lead space planning efforts to optimize the office layout and ensure seating arrangements are in line with business needs.
- Oversee Europe office health & safety programs to ensure a safe and productive work environment for all.
- Coordinate all adds, office moves, & changes for Europe as required.
- Proactively seek out feedback and improvements to the office space.
- Collaborate closely with key internal stakeholders such as HR, TechOps, Legal, Finance, and other Workplace team members to ensure seamless and safe operations.
- Triage all Europe-related Jira tickets and employee requests.
- Drive the organisation and success of Europe’s participation in company-wide flagship events like our annual company-wide hackathon.
- Lead the organisation of Europe team social hours, onsites, and cross-office meetings.
- Represent and influence Plaid’s culture in the office by building relationships and supporting employees.
- Partner with Finance, EAs, & WPE to actively manage and distribute the Europe T&E & Workplace Experience budgets through Brex.
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes for Europe team members, including equipment coordination and access management.
- As business-needs expand, this role may support key stakeholders (Executives, People, Finance, etc.) with administrative tasks as needed.
- 5+ years of experience as Workplace Manager or similar operational role.
- 1+ years of experience planning workplace events or social programming.
- Experience supporting teams across multiple locations or countries.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to operate autonomously and juggle multiple priorities independently.
- Clear and confident communication skills.
- Comfortable working with suppliers and external vendors.

- (Nice to have) Experience working in a fast-growing or regulated business.
- (Nice to have) Basic understanding of health & safety or workplace compliance.
