Plaid’s go-to-market Partnerships team drives growth by building and scaling relationships with strategic partners. Through integrations, these partners help extend Plaid’s Credit, Lending, and Banking solutions to more businesses and consumers. Partner Marketing plays a critical role in this ecosystem, enabling partners to attract, engage, and onboard customers at scale—making it one of the most effective levers for accelerating growth across Plaid’s partner network.
We're looking for a Partner Marketing Manager to own the design and execution of joint marketing programs with Plaid's partners. This role is responsible for translating business objectives into clear GTM plans — covering propositions, launches, campaigns, enablement, and performance measurement — and acting as the primary marketing contact for partners across key product areas.
Sitting within the Growth Marketing organization, you'll report to the Customer & Partner Marketing Lead and work alongside the Partner Marketing Manager. This is a high-impact, highly collaborative role for someone who enjoys building strong partner relationships, influencing across teams, and turning complex product positioning into compelling marketing that drives real pipeline.
Responsibilities- Partner closely with Partnership Leaders to understand key priorities and identify where we have marketing leverage.
- Translate business objectives into clear GTM plans covering propositions, launches, campaigns, enablement, and performance measurement.
- Identify and develop partner-led propositions that meet partner needs while aligning to Plaid's company goals.
- Create and execute co-marketing campaigns with partners to drive awareness, demand, and adoption.
- Develop scalable content campaigns to engage a broad range of existing partners.
- Analyze performance data to optimize campaigns and improve ROI across the partner channel.
- Act as the primary GTM contact for partners on propositions, launches, campaigns, and enablement.
- Create partner-ready enablement materials including decks, guides, FAQs, and onboarding content.
- Ensure partners are launch-ready and confident to sell effectively.
- Deeply understand Plaid's product areas across Credit, Lending, and Banking and translate them into partner-relevant messaging.
- Influence and organise stakeholders across partnerships, account management, product marketing, and communications to deliver against joint marketing plans.
- Manage timelines, approvals, and dependencies across multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor and analyze program performance, preparing clear updates and insights to support optimization and reporting.
- 6–8+ years of relevant B2B marketing experience, including roles focused on partner or channel marketing.
- Experience working closely with technology and/or consulting partners to build joint marketing plans that drive customer acquisition and pipeline generation.
- Proven ability to influence partner marketing leadership teams and align on joint objectives and priorities.
- Experience shaping joint messaging with partners and translating product positioning into partner-ready content.
- Demonstrated ability to measure and improve ROI of marketing investments through an indirect/partner business model.
- Deep understanding of the partner channel funnel, sales cycle, and product lifecycle.
- Strong cross-functional skills with the ability to align stakeholders across partnerships, product marketing, product, and communications.
- Comfortable engaging with enterprise-level stakeholders and presenting to senior audiences.
- Experience at a high-growth technology company.
- Experience in payments, financial technology, Credit, Lending, or Banking.
- Background in partner enablement, revenue enablement, or sales enablement.
- Experience with marketing automation platforms (Marketo, HubSpot) or CRM (Salesforce).
- Experience working with learning management systems (LetterAI) and employee enablement intranet platforms.
- Strong ability to leverage AI (ChatGPT, Claude, Glean) tools and technologies to improve efficiency, automate workflows, and scale impact.
