Introduction The Facilities Apprentice will be based within our Facilities team at pladis UK Head Office in Chiswick, London and will support the smooth day-to-day running of the workplace, helping to ensure the office environment is safe, functional, and sustainable.

- What You’ll Do
- Carry out routine compliance hazard checks and monthly safety audits.
- Support the maintenance of a safe working environment in line with health and safety regulations.
- Log maintenance requests and ensure they are progressed through to completion.
- Liaise with maintenance engineer and contractors as required.
- Coordinate with our executive and personal assistants to forward plan weekly meeting room events.
- Facilitate meeting room set up requirements according to health and safety standards.
- Maintain an organised, safe, and efficient post room.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and parcels.
- Assist with the management of ID access cards.
- Support office security processes.
- Contribute to waste management and recycling initiatives.
- Promote sustainable workplace practices.
- Act as a first point of contact for facilities-related queries.
- Respond to staff requests with a professional, customer-focused approach.
- Training Outcome
The successful candidate will be expected to step into a permanent position as the site Learning & Development Coordinator.
