Reporting to the Senior Shopper Marketing Manager, this role is central to Shopper Marketing at pladis UK. You’ll ensure our brands achieve standout in‑store across the market, owning POS briefs, physical merchandising, and the execution of 360° plans with colleagues across Category, Marketing and Sales, as well as with leading retailers. Using insights and market data, you’ll drive better customer experiences and stronger return on investment. This role presents a phenomenal opportunity for someone looking to further develop their career in FMCG, with lots of potential for growth within the Shopper Marketing function.
Key Deliverables:
- Support the Senior Shopper Marketing Manager in delivering annual shopper plans and day‑to‑day shopper media planning and briefing.
- Work closely with account managers and sales teams to activate shopper marketing plans, unlock opportunities, and ensure strong online and in‑store visibility.
- Deliver impactful display solutions with external artwork/display partners, ensuring accurate briefing, timely delivery, and strong ROI.
- Collaborate with Sales, Category, and Marketing teams to manage OSF, negotiate savings, and align investments with business goals.
- Maintain organised trackers, files, databases, budgets, POs, accruals, and investment phasing to enable accurate forecasting and cross‑functional collaboration.
- Provide customer/channel insights and ad‑hoc data support while ensuring all shopper communications receive required approvals (Brand, Legal, Regulatory, etc.).
Experience Required:
- Experience in other commercial functions a plus e.g. Sales, Category, Marketing (Shopper Marketing exposure preferred).
- Understanding of full Shopper Journey touchpoints.
- Ability to conduct briefing and coordination of Shopper Marketing activity.
- Effective interpersonal skills, partner management and collaboration skills.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to multi-task.
- Strong personal leadership skills.
- High level of attention to detail.
Interview Process:
- Initial Telephone call with Talent Acquisition.
- 1st stage interview – 45 minutes competency-based interview based on our company values and your experiences.
- 2nd stage interview – 90 minutes – a technical interview to understand your skill set/case study or presentation interview.
- pladis does also use both Psychometric and Aptitude tests to support our processes so you may be asked to complete these as part of your process.
