Role: Relief Wrapping Machine Operator – No Monti
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, pm – am
Location: Carlisle, Church Street, Cumbria, CA TG

Role objectives:
The main responsibility is to work as part of a team in packing and feeding biscuits, with opportunities to train as a Wrapping Machine Operator. The role involves maintaining high standards, working proactively, and supporting team progression.
Key deliverables:
- Manually pack products within specifications
- Check for foreign matter/hazards
- Maintain quality standards
- Adhere to safety and quality protocols
- Report issues and maintain hygiene standards
Wrapping Machine Operator responsibilities:
- Perform pre-start checks
- Ensure product quality and machine setup
- Complete changeovers and rework procedures
- Document accurately and maintain safety standards
- Train peers and troubleshoot basic issues
Experience required:
Essential: Basic numeracy and literacy, manual dexterity, communication skills, problem recognition, teamwork, initiative, positive attitude.
Desirable: Previous experience, knowledge of manufacturing, HACCP, KPIs.
