Senior analyst role with line management responsibility, managing the commercial modelling and delivery of budgeted P&Ls for defined brands within the McVitie's portfolio.
Supporting the Head of Commercial Operations RG&P Controller through ensuring execution of the marketing plan through the sales team tracking delivery vs budget and recommending corrective action where necessary.
Highly cross functional and influential role: The right candidate will utilise periodic forums to influence the sales team to deliver McVitie's objectives and ensure they are fully equipped to do so through clear communication and provision of selling tools.
Support the Head of Commercial Operations RG&P Controller, the candidate will also develop strategies to increase profitable growth through promotions and pack format strategy.
Requirements
- Experience of commercial modelling including strong Excel, price elasticity understanding, EPOS data, commercial P&Ls.
- Strong commercial judgement.
- FMCG / Retail experience required.
- Line management experience desirable but not mandatory.

- Accountability for price and promo strategies of defined brands within the McVitie's portfolio ensuring execution on time and in full across all PPA agreed strategies with support from Head of Commercial Operations.
- Revenue Growth lead across the team for tracking of NPD execution and delivery vs budgeted execution standards.
- Manage the two way communication with sales team via formal.
