Location: Long Lane, Aintree, L9 7BQ

A Team Member role is part of the Manufacturing Team, contributing to achieving the goal of the Factory by efficiently carrying out assigned tasks. The aim is to manufacture the Company’s product to an agreed specification in a safe, high quality and cost effective manner, with a right first-time approach. Team Members will work alongside other Team Members at different levels including ATM’s and cross-functionally, meeting defined targets complying with safety, quality and behavioural guidelines.

Key Deliverables:

  • Ensure adherence to all safety and quality standards.
  • Optimise line output via the setup of machines and the review of line performance data.
  • Material movement co-ordination.
  • Ensure plant start-up / shut-down are planned and performed in line with standard working documents and checklists.
  • Maximise plant efficiency and minimise TOS and waste (recycling all products effectively).
  • Ensure food safety and quality checks are routinely completed on the line.
  • Actively use online PQA (or equivalent) as a means of achieving quality standards.
  • Effectively communicate key operational information to colleagues and other shift Teams.
  • Demonstrate to others the main tasks associated with the role to support and underpin site training programme.

Experience Required:

  • Flexibility - the willingness and ability to accept and adapt to change including changing demands or objectives.
  • Teamwork - the willingness and ability to cooperate with others to achieve common goals.
  • Communication - be clear and concise. Inputs to team briefings and meetings. Listen to and consider others.
  • Problem Solving - identifies problems & finds solutions using the appropriate techniques. Takes personal responsibility for ensuring that solutions happen.
  • Continuous Improvement - improve own performance via being receptive to feedback and coaching & learning from Team Manager.
  • Ongoing commitment to Safety, Quality and Hygiene standards.
  • Working on own initiative, and with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to cope with a factory environment.

Qualifications:

  • Basic Food hygiene L2.
  • Isolation & Lock Off.

  • Online Assessments – Swift Comprehension Aptitude assessment and Workplace English. This should take around 60 minutes to complete.
  • Practical Assessment and Interview – On site assessment followed by a 45-60 minute competency-based interview based on our company values and your experience.
