What will this role achieve?
- pladis is the top tier Biscuit manufacturer with three nationally loved brands; Mc Vitie’s, Jacobs and Go Ahead; and annual revenue of £667m.
- We are the 9th biggest FMCG company and 3rd fastest growing (source Kantar) in the UK
- The UK Sales Team at pladis employs approximately 150 people across functions including account management, category management and customer marketing.
The Team is responsible for the delivery of the commercial budgets across the UK, split into three channels: Grocery; Convenience & Impulse; and Discounters.
- Own the Booths business end-to-end, with responsibility for commercial performance, customer relationships and delivering the pladis growth agenda.
- Support key areas of the Waitrose account, providing exposure to all aspects of account management, from customer planning and commercial analysis through to promotional execution and project delivery.
- This role offers excellent development opportunities, with scope to broaden your customer exposure, build commercial expertise and expand your remit within the team.
pladis does also use both Psychometric and Aptitude tests to support our processes so you may be asked to complete these as part of your process.

What will be your key deliverables?
- Lead the Booths account end to end while managing a defined area of the Waitrose business, driving commercial performance, delivering growth and building strong customer partnerships across both customers.
- Support the development and execution of customer plans and Joint Business Plans across Booths and Waitrose.
- Identify and deliver opportunities to grow sales, market share, distribution and promotional effectiveness.
- Provide insightful analysis and recommendations to support decision-making and drive customer performance.
- Create and maintain customer scorecards, identifying risks, opportunities and actions to improve results.
- Deliver accurate forecasting and contribute to the achievement of monthly sales and profit targets.
- Evaluate promotional activity and recommend actions to optimise future investment and performance.
- Manage key account processes including promotions, NPD launches, reporting and customer administration, ensuring delivery with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Build strong cross-functional relationships with Category, Customer Marketing, Supply Chain and Finance teams to unlock customer-focused growth opportunities.
- Effectively utilise internal systems and data sources to generate actionable insights and support business performance.
