Days – week rolling rota am – pm. Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday.

What will this role achieve?

The Advanced Team Member is responsible for operating machinery and carrying out basic maintenance tasks. Working in the Bulk and Mixing Area, you will identify equipment faults, train other team members, monitor and report performance, prioritize tasks, and coordinate activities on the line.

You will also contribute to enhancing plant performance and continuous improvement, maintain high hygiene and housekeeping standards, adhere to cleaning schedules, and perform quality checks. You will report and record data, carry out inspections, and perform quality control checks.

What will be your key deliverables?

  • PCS platform operations
  • Bulk deliveries – collecting deliveries and signing in/assigning drivers
  • Understanding of GMP, HACCP, and H&S standards
  • Maintaining compliance with DSOPs/Risk Assessments
  • Meeting factory performance KPI targets
  • First point of contact for machinery breakdowns
  • Delivering high-quality wrapped products
  • Optimizing plant/machinery performance
  • Ensuring compliance with production plans
  • Continuously improving production lines
  • Maintaining audit readiness and GMP compliance
  • Equipment maintenance and recording quality checks
  • Covering operator duties when needed

The successful candidate will demonstrate physical ability, dexterity, accuracy, and safe use of tools and equipment. They will be logical thinkers with a proactive approach to diagnosing problems.

Bring your experience

Essential

  • Good verbal and numerical skills, basic PC skills, problem-solving ability, and team spirit
  • Ability to work well in a team, fault-finding skills, attention to detail
  • Track record of improving quality and efficiency, hands-on skills, decision-making ability

Desirable

  • Experience as a Mixing Room Operator, PCS software knowledge
  • Stock management experience
  • Experience operating large-scale automated machinery in a food environment
  • Experience coordinating labor and tasks
