What will this role achieve? We are looking to recruit a highly motivated individual to join us as a Warehouse Team Member at our MDC site. This is a great opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, supportive environment where your contribution really matters. Your main responsibility is to receive, pick and load finished products in the Warehouse. You will receive two weeks of training on all Manual Handling Equipment (MHE) to help you succeed in the role.
We will provide you with protective clothing and relevant equipment during your induction which must be worn at all times. After your six month probationary period we will provide you with a smart uniform.
What will be your key deliverables?
- 2 weeks training when you join – FLT / Counterbalance/ VNA / PPT
- Report all accidents and near misses.
- Offloading finished goods and packaging into the Warehouse
- Loading finished goods onto trailers
- Picking product from pick-face
- Use of an FLT/Counterbalance/PPT/VNA
- Accurate receipt of stock and inputting into WMS system.
- Maximise Warehouse efficiency whilst minimising waste.
- Help keep the Warehouse running smoothly by checking product quality and making sure the work area stays safe.
- Ensure housekeeping and hygiene standards are maintained to the highest of levels.
- Supporting the business with the generation of any improvement initiatives.
Bring your experience
Essential:
- Have experience working with Counterbalance and PPT.
- Have an understanding of good manufacturing practices, HACCP and safety at work procedures.
- Open to learning and adapting to change.
- Be able to multi-task and have the drive and tenacity to work under your own initiative.
- Maintain high standards of Hygiene and Housekeeping.
- Additional ad-hoc duties as and when required.
Desirable:
- Have an in-date Counterbalance and PPT license (All training will be provided.)
What does the recruitment process consist of?
- Assessments – Swift Comprehensive Aptitude and a Workplace English assessment. These should take around 60 minutes to complete.
- Interview – 45-60 minute competency-based interview based on our company values and your experience.
If you’re an internal member of staff, depending on your current job role, you may not be required to complete all of the assessments.
