Salary: £44,385.36 (annually)

Working Hours: 6 pm-6 am, 4-week rolling rota (Week 1: Mon-Thu; Week 2: Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat, Sun; Week 3: Fri-Sun; Week 4: Wed, Thu)

Location: 10 Waxlow Road, London, NW10 7NY

Responsibilities

  • Operate packing equipment and run machinery in the Packing Hall.
  • Perform pre-start checks and maintain high production standards.
  • Conduct product quality evaluations throughout each shift.
  • Complete change-overs following correct procedures.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and shift handovers.
  • Train peers and new operatives on equipment use and procedures.
  • Diagnose basic equipment issues and collaborate with team members to resolve them.
  • Maintain efficient operation of packing equipment while performing quality inspections and ensuring a safe work environment.
  • Help minimise waste and maximise plant efficiency.
  • Keep housekeeping and hygiene standards at the highest level.
  • Support improvement initiatives where possible.
  • Occasionally hand-pack and hand-stack boxes and perform cleaning duties.

Qualifications

  • Understanding of good manufacturing practices (GMP) and safety procedures at work.
  • Ability to work well with others and be open to learning and change.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing shifts and working environments.
  • Desirable: Experience working with food or machinery in a quality-focused factory.
